Hazelnut Affogato

Affogato means “drowned” in Italian – and it is simply vanilla ice cream (or gelato to be authentically Italian) topped with a shot of hot espresso. I fell in love with this dessert after visiting an Italian restau by the block. Glad I found this from afamilyfeast.com. It has a rich flavor combineed with hot espresso against the cold. It’s both refreshing and sinfully delicious!
